Our 8 Nights 9 Days Spiti Valley with Chandratal Tour Package covers the major destinations of Spiti Valley, including Chitkul/Sangla, Tabo, Dhankar, Kaza, Key Monastery, Hikkim, Komik, Langza, Chandratal Lake, and Manali. This itinerary follows the Shimla–Kinnaur route and returns via Manali, allowing you to explore the region’s monasteries, high-altitude villages, mountain passes, and scenic landscapes. Day 1 - Delhi/Chandigarh to Shimla
Upon your arrival at the Delhi or Chandigarh Airport/Railway Station, our tour representative will receive you and assist with your transfer to Shimla. Enjoy a scenic drive through the hills of Himachal Pradesh. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. The rest of the evening is at leisure.

Day 2 – Shimla to Chitkul/Sangla
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed towards Chitkul/Sangla via Kufri and Narkanda. Enjoy the scenic drive through the Himalayan mountains, passing through apple orchards, pine forests, and the beautiful landscapes of Kinnaur. Upon arrival in Chitkul or Sangla (depending on the itinerary and road conditions), check in to your hotel and relax.

Day 3 – Chitkul/Sangla to Tabo
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and continue your journey towards Tabo along the Indo-Tibet Highway (NH-5). En route, witness the confluence of the Spiti and Sutlej Rivers at Khab Bridge, one of the major landmarks on the route. Enter Spiti Valley via Sumdo and visit the historic Gue Monastery, home to the naturally preserved 500-year-old mummy of a Buddhist monk. Continue your drive to Tabo and, upon arrival, check in to your hotel.

Day 4 – Tabo to Kaza
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed towards Kaza. Visit the historic Dhankar Monastery, perched on a rocky cliff overlooking the confluence of the Spiti and Pin Rivers. Explore the ancient Dhankar Village and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding valley before continuing your journey to Kaza.

Day 5 – Kaza Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour around Kaza. Visit Key Monastery, the largest and one of the oldest monasteries in Spiti Valley. Continue to Chicham Bridge, one of the highest suspension bridges in Asia, connecting the villages of Chicham and Kibber.
Later, explore the high-altitude villages of Hikkim, home to the world’s highest post office, Komik, one of the highest motorable villages in the world, and Langza, known for its large Buddha statue and fossil-rich landscape.
After completing the sightseeing, return to Kaza.

Day 6 – Kaza to Chandratal Lake
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed towards Chandratal Lake. Drive through Losar, the last inhabited village of Spiti Valley, before crossing Kunzum Pass (subject to weather and road conditions). Upon arrival near Chandratal Lake, check in to your campsite. You can visit the lake and spend the evening enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

Day 7 – Chandratal Lake to Manali
After breakfast, check out from the campsite and proceed towards Manali via Chhatru and Rohtang Pass (subject to weather and road conditions). Enjoy the scenic drive through the high-altitude landscapes before arriving in Manali by evening. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. You may spend the remaining time exploring Old Manali at your own pace.

Day 8 – Manali Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed for a local sightseeing tour of Manali. Visit the famous Hadimba Devi Temple, followed by Van Vihar and the Tibetan Monastery. Continue to the Club House, explore the bustling Mall Road, and visit Old Manali, known for its traditional houses and cafés. Later, enjoy a short walk to the scenic Jogini Waterfall.
After completing the sightseeing, return to your hotel.

Day 9 – Manali to Delhi/Chandigarh (Departure)
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin your return journey to Delhi or Chandigarh. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your preferred airport, railway station, or designated location, marking the end of your Spiti Valley with Chandratal Tour.
